We found our Inner Sharks

We went to the Adventure Aquarium this morning. They had a deal that if you came with a "shark do", admission was only $10! I love a deal! All four of us had a nice fin on our heads. Mine was really bad and as soon as I got past the ticket window, I lost the fin and opted for a pony tail. The boys loved their fins! We had a really nice time. Can't wait to go again as a family of five!

Brad was the ONLY adult sporting a fin! It was so funny!

The boys got to touch small sharks, rays, sea cucumbers, jelly fish and starfish!

We saw a show with divers and huge sting rays. Nate got to go up and race the diver. He had to hop on one foot. He won!

Glamping with the Hoopers

We went camping this weekend with the Hoopers and Afflerbachs. We tent camped next to the Hooper's RV and got to enjoy all the luxuries and glamour of RV camping, therefore we were "glamping". We all had a great time! The kids played tennis, rode bikes around the campground, played on the playground, swam, made s'mores (ok... I did too!), played flashlight tag...

and fished! Aidan had a death grip on his poor little fish!

Nate caught a fish too! His fish got away and bounced back into the water!

Aidan turns 6 !!!

Aidan turned 6 on August 9th. He had a friend party at Bounce U, an indoor facility with 4 different inflatables to jump and climb on. It was worth every penny. The kids all had a great time, especially Aidan with all the presents! On Sunday, we had his family party here at the house. Unfortunately it wasn't a pool party due to lots of rain. It was our first "wash out" pool party in 3 years :( We had a nice time anyway. Aunt Micki and John were visiting from Florida, so they were able to help us celebrate. Mommom and Pop-pop, Mimi and Poppie, Denise, Andy, Michelle, Lisa and Christopher all came too! Thanks goodness for Wii!!!!

I Did It!

Well, I did it! I actually put that picture of St. Basil's Cathedral on our blog ALL BY MYSELF! I think it is the most beautiful building and can't wait to see it in person. It looks like it's from a fairy tale. Before you know it, I'll be posting my own picture of St. Basil's (with me and Brad in front of it!!!)

I'm new at all this blog stuff, but just learned that if you subscribe to this blog,  you can receive emails when there are new updates!  Pretty cool!
