It's Official!!!

We got the call that we are definitely matched with a little girl born in December of 2008!!! She is of eurasian decent and adorable (so they tell us)! We did not get travel dates yet. They have us tentatively scheduled to travel in November, but the team in Moscow is trying to move it up to October. We won't find anything else out until next Tuesday! I think another week may kill me :( But we are getting so close to meeting our baby girl!!! I will hold onto that this week and keep praying for an October travel date. We would love to have her home by Christmas. I told the boys that if we are in Russia on our 3rd trip during Christmas, that maybe Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden may visit them! Woo Hoo!!!!! I'm so excited!

Debbie, if you read this, leave your email. I would love to get in touch with you!

First Day of School

Well, my babies are off to 4th and 1st grade! Nate woke up this morning and the first words out of his mouth were, "I'm so scared." Aidan woke up on Monday and was scared until I told him he didn't have school!!! It is going to be so strange not having either one of them here all day. Aidan and I had a little rountine together for several years. Part of me is sooooooo excited to food shop and run errands alone and not have to watch the clock for kindergarten. But I think I'll be watching the clock for them to come home. I really hope the adoption happens soon before I get used to all this freedom :) Anyway, I'm sure they are having a great first day and I can't wait to hear all about it!

Best friends going off to 4th grade.

Here's the bus stop gang!

Doesn't look like Nate and Aidan are nervous at all :)

The bus was a little late due to it being the first day of school, so when it finally came everyone lined up and I forgot all about kissing my babies goodbye. I wonder if they even realized!

Off they go.....

Aidan looks happy!!! Bye, bye :(
