Back to School

School started a week early for us this year and I really would have liked one more week. The boys were excited about starting, so I had to go along with it! Now I'm looking forward to them coming home to hear all about it!

Hurricane Irene

Hurricane Irene has come and gone and besides a ton of rain and wind, all is good! Well, except Aidan's elbows. We were having a little fun taking "action shots", but what we didn't do was discuss the wet, slippery pole and when to let go of your brother's legs :( Lesson learned....

Last Week of Summer

We are trying to enjoy the last days of summer this week. School starts a week early for us this year so we lost a whole week of summer :( The weather has been beautiful (cooler, sunny and low humidity). We hit several parks this week and had a great time!

We went to Fischer's Park, which has a little waterfall and creek to play in. Grace loved walking in the shallow water and climbing on rocks. The boys loved exploring and I loved taking home three kids that had more fun than they thought they would :)






This cracks me up! Look at these two girls with their mamma's iphones knowing just what to do with them :)

We also went to Green Lane Park - We did the playground, played in the water, and climbed on giant rocks! Fun!!!





Grace was convinced there were "monkeys in the forest". These next pics are of her looking for them :)

Amy & Rob's Wedding

Brad's sister, Amy got married last weekend. The wedding and reception were in New York City. It was a gorgeous day and a beautiful wedding! The boys danced their hearts out and really enjoyed their first wedding. Congratulations, Amy and Rob!

Aidan Turns 9

Aidan had the longest birthday ever!!! We started out celebrating with his friends at the end of July with a pool party. Then we had his family party (which I didn't take nearly enough pictures.... AGAIN). Then his actual birthday arrived with presents and McDonalds (since Brad wasn't home) and we ended it tonight with Chinese food! He loves all the attention!!! He is growing up so fast! Wish I could stop that.....
