Ladybug Siting

I am always on the look out for ladybugs! I notice them everywhere...on clothing, books, jewelry, etc. Today I saw a real live ladybug! It was just hanging out on our back door. I got all excited and then felt a pang of sadness because I know our chances of getting a referral the next few months are S L I M . I have not been obsessing over the adoption lately merely because I feel like I am in survival mode. It's too stressful to invest so much time and energy into thinking and dreaming of something that seems like it may never happen.
