4th of July

Happy belated 4th of July! This year we went camping with 9 other families from our neighborhood! That's right... a lot of people :) We went up to our neighbor, Claudine's, parents' house in northern PA. They have about 16 acres with a pond. The kids had a blast and were busy fishing, swimming, rowing, visiting a neighboring farm, and just running all around. We ate well which made up for all the mud! It had rained the night before and a little the day we got there, which made for very muddy conditions. Thankfully I was prepared with 2 pairs of old sneakers for everyone! We had a small fireworks display and big bonfire. It was a very fun weekend! I'll leave you with some pictures...

This is our neighbors' RV... they were "glamping", not camping!

My little buddy, Meghan!

Nate loved the boats and that's pretty much what he did most of the time.

Nate giving Mommy a little ride!

Warming up after a rain shower!

I love this picture of Nate and Tyler. They look like little Native American boys running through the forest with their spears!

Great pictures! Looks like a fun trip. I hope you didn't have to work too hard while you were there. ;-)

We had a great weekend didn't we? Even with the mud !!!! Down the shore, your little buddy and I were playing with rescue heroes.. There were three of them so I named one--Aidan, the second--Nate and for the third I asked Meghan what she should name it (thinking she would say Tyler)..She said Brad (of course it came out BLAD).. So maybe, Blad is her favorite!!!!
