Vlad picked us up at the airport and he is such a nice man. We checked in and took a couple hours to nap, then went out for a bite to eat and check out Red Square. We are a 10 minute walk which was fine tonight, but when the temps drop we may not be doing that again. We had our first meal in Moscow at Sbarro :) We were hungry and it was right there at Red Square. Tomorrow we will find a better place to eat. There were tons of people out tonight with music. We have a tour scheduled for tomorrow with Sergei for four hours. Then tuesday is our meeting with the DOE. I'm fairly brain dead right now, so that's all I got. Will try to post again tomorrow with pics from our tour. Time to go skype with my kids :) Miss you, boys!!!

Some pretty building on Red Square.
Ice skaters at Red Square
Don't know what was going on here. But lots of people were looking and taking pictures. There were two guards, a fire and something else in the background I couldn't see :)
Tunnel that goes under major road for pedestrians to cross.

Your pictures are amazing!! St. Basils looks like it is fresh out of the game Candyland. Are the Russians calling brad by his Tyler-given name---Blad? Tell Blad " in room" Internet is probably cheaper than flannel lined jeans.. I still cannot believe you are in Moscow!!! Enjoy every minute of your trip!!!!!
It looks like an amazing trip already! So glad to hear you guys made it safely. Your pictures are beautiful!
GREAT pictures...keep em' coming!!
Who am I going to call this week when I need a break at work?
Glad to hear your first day there was better than ours... not adventurous enough to do the apartment thing again. Life in hotels is soooo much better. Hope you have a great week. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
BTW, how much is Wi-Fi there, was thinking of staying there for our last trip...

YEAH!!!! You're there! I can tell by the pics you're at the Marriott Courtyard, right? The pic of the soliders is the Russian tomb of the unknown soldier... just so you know!
