Many of you PAPs have heard the recent story of Nathaniel Craver who was adopted from Russia in 2003 and has died. Horrible story! This article is out today and I'm freaking out!!!! Russia is calling for a suspension on US adoptions! We are so close to being done this 3 year journey and am so scared what this may mean for all of us waiting to go back. I want my baby girl home!!! As far as I know, nothing has officially happened. Keep praying! Here's the link:

I know it's harder said than done, but try to stay calm until we know for sure what's going on. Hopefully your agency will get back to you soon with soem information!
Freaking out with you.....attempts to stay calm and rational are NOT working....just wants these kids HOME!!! HUGS
Keep checking my email constantly to see if my agency has heard anything else... UGH. I am losing it!
After everything you go through to adopt from Russia, I don't understand how anyone could harm the child they bring home. I hope the sick few don't affect the adoptions for the majority of amazing families out there. Hang in there!
Keep the faith! It is such a heartbreaking story and one that I'll NEVER understand how it could happen. But I am praying for you and your little girl along with all the PAPs trying so hard to bring their children home from Russia. May God bless you!
It's crazy! I hate what comes about from this..everyone's opinions! "oh why do people adopt internationally anyway. bla bla!" Annoying! How come they don't talk about the many foster care parents in Russia who abuse and bring back the children? They didn't have as much red tape in 2003 as now, those parents probably wouldn't have a chance today in Russia. Hold tight!
