Busy Weekend!

After loading all these pictures, I'm exhausted! I'll keep this short! We went to my cousin, Christine's college graduation party on Sunday night. It was Grace's first big family shindig. She did great! After she warmed up, she went on her way. Everyone was so excited to finally meet her, especially my grandmother whom Grace is named after. The party was a lot of fun! Nate learned to play volleyball and it turns out he is pretty darn good! On the way home, Grace was frustrated and crying on and off. I started singing "Hush LIttle Baby" and she stopped! So we kept the song going and you can't believe the new verses we all came up with!!! (Not every verse was appropriate though, for a sweet baby girl's ears :)

Labor Day Monday was Nate's 10th birthday! I can't believe he is double digits!!!! He is growing up so fast and is such a kind, honest young man. We had a very small family get together by the pool. Grace did great all weekend with new faces. She kept us in her sight, but wasn't too clingy. I think she likes being the center of attention :) Her naps were great all weekend with her new room darkening shades, but I've been paying for it the past 2 days. She is very irritable and not napping so great. Not sure if it was all the excitement over the weekend or her molars coming in. All I am sure of, is I'm tired!!! Mostly tired of being yelled at all day! We have had a low key week so far and I'm keeping it that way, so hopefully she will cut back on the whining :)

Grace and Taj - Can he come babysit one day?

Trying to get a picture of my kiddos. At least Nate is consistent :)

Nate reading the card Aidan made for him. He included a picture of them and wrote "Brotherhood' underneath it! Awww!!!

She may looked scared, but she loved this!!!

Aidan in mid-air.

We really aren't this neurotic! Grace started off with her life jacket, then we added the water wings to see how much she would float. Then we decided to try out the baby float! Doesn't she look comfortable???? Water safety is very important to us :)

Grace blowing bubbles (more like licking the water).

First, SUPER CUTE sundress she is in!! Love it. She looks like such a spunky little girl, everything you're writing all just seems so totally normal and she seems to have fit into your family without skipping a beat. I continue to be so happy for you all.

LOL....Grace in the pool reminds me of when my aunt would bundle me up to go play in the snow! By the time she was done, I couldn't move!!

10 yr old....ugh, the time goes too fast! I wish there was something I could sprinkle on Dylan to slow down the aging (well, on ME TOO for that matter!)

Ok clearly I'm super behind. But I just had to say I love the dress Hope is wearing in those first few photos. It's gorgeous!

But you know what I love best about all the photos you post, you can just see the love that everyone has for Hope. It's beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
