3 Year Old Check Up
Grace had her 3 year check up today. She is growing like a weed!!! She weighs 41 lbs and is 41 3/4 inches!!! Off the charts for both, but more so for her height. The doctor said she is the size of an average 4 1/2 year old! Unfortunately, she doesn't act like a 4 1/2 year old. Which WE don't expect her to, but I think people in general expect more out of her than she can give. We were told to subtract a year in what we expect emotionally and with behavior. So now I have this 2 year old who looks like a 4 1/2 year old!!!! Poor Gracie! But she is strong and healthy, so we are happy!!!!

Wow, what a big girl! Loving watching her grow!
Oh my! She has outdone her orphanage partner, Logan who weighed in at 39.5 lbs and 39" tall. He dropped to the 70th percentile on height and is still 90th on weight. I had not heard about subtracting a year for the orphanage, my doctor had said 2-3 months behind.
Logan finally crawled out of his crib in the last month and within days was able to also open the child gates at the top of the stairs. He appeared in my office one day on the first floor when I was there while he was napping and totally scared me! So he is almost getting caught up. I will say that he hits a mean baseball both left handed an right handed!
Anyway, so glad that you're keeping up your blog and nice to see Grace's progress!
How is it possible that Grace keeps getting cuter? I love reading about her adventures! xoxo
